The first major of the 2024 LPGA Tour season is finally here as the world’s best players descend upon The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas for The Chevron Championship. The 132-player field is star-studded with 11 past champions and all of the top-10 players in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings teeing it up, including world No. 1 Nelly Korda, who will be looking to capture her fifth consecutive victory just outside of Houston, and No. 2 Lilia Vu, who’s working to successfully defend a title for the first time in her LPGA Tour career. A Texas-sized purse is up for grabs, as are 650 Race to the CME Globe points, much-needed for those looking to stake an early claim at the top of the standings.
